Not a follow train.

Your X account stays yours.

  • Matching, launching and upvoting need X Premium.
  • You only match when it's mutual.
  • You tap follow yourself, on X.
  • Nothing is automated. No bots, no scripts.
  • Read-only X access. We can't post, follow, like or DM for you.

Why I built FollowX

Growing on X alone is slow, and the shortcuts are bots and fake follows. I wanted real people who actually follow back, so I built that.

And when you ship something, you should hear from real people too, not a wall of bought upvotes.

It's early and small, so everyone who joins shapes it. If something's broken or missing, tell me.

Questions, answered

Is it free?
Yes, it's all free. Matching, launching and upvoting need X Premium, which keeps bots out. Launches show our small badge on your site.
Do I need X Premium?
To swipe, match, launch and upvote, yes. The badge keeps bots out. Without it you can still sign in, make your card and browse people and launches.
Is it safe for my X account?
Yes. Nothing is automated: you choose who to match with and you tap follow yourself. FollowX has read-only access, so it can't post, follow, like or DM for you. Matches are capped at 20 a day, so nobody mass-follows.
What if someone doesn't follow back?
Nothing happens to your account. The pact ends after 7 days and neither of you gets the +10. We check a follow once, when you press Verify, and never again.
What do you read from my X account?
When you sign in: your handle, name, photo, follower counts and whether you have Premium. When you press Verify on a pact: whether you follow that one person. Nothing else. See Terms & Privacy.
Why launch here if I'm on Product Hunt?
Launch on both. Here every upvote comes from a verified X profile, not a bought bot, and your launch page stays up for good.
How do launches work?
Pick a day on Launches. You go live at 10:00 UTC, people upvote and comment, and the day's top 3 get a Product of the Day badge. Launching is free. Add our small badge to your site. Your page stays up after the day ends.
Do I get a link to my site?
Yes. A dofollow link to your site, free while we're in early access.
